Good Morning County, and welcome back. I hope that you had a wonderful and restful March break.
A few items on the agenda today, but mostly informational. First, just a quick reminder of the voting for our Provincial Executive position is coming up this Thursday, March 28th. Reps, please ensure that you have sufficient voting cards, and please remember that your administrators are not eligible to cast a ballot. Subs may vote if they are working in your school that day. If you have any questions, e-mail me or firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to find out more about the candidates, simply click the links directly to the right of this post.
Speaking of elections, I want to take the opportunity to congratulate our newest executive member, Desirée Daniele on being acclaimed in the position of our Equity and Reps chair. She will fill this seat on a temporary basis, and we are very much looking forward to having her as part of our team.
For those of you who may be closing in on the professional finish line, the NSTU will be hosting a session for retiring teachers on Tuesday, April 2nd at the main NSTU office on Joe Howe drive. Please click this link to find out more information.
If you have any interest in getting involved in your NSTU at a higher level, applications are now open for spots on a variety of Provincial NSTU committees. This is a great opportunity to network with other members from all over the Province and to bring your own unique voice to a variety of NSTU issues and events. Please click here to find out more.
On a final note, the movie is completely booked. Please let us know if you can not make it by e-mailing email@example.com.
That’s it for today, all. Have a great week!
